How to Use Readership

A simple guide to exploring the site, suggesting additions, and understanding how listings are curated.

Readership is organised around a few simple sections: Bookstores, Book Clubs, Events, Reading Spaces, People, and Notes. Each section is a list of places, groups, or ideas, kept as simple and current as possible.

The Reading Map brings the most useful parts of these sections together in one page, useful if you want a quick overview rather than browsing section by section.

Notes, like this one, are slower and more written. They are meant for when you want context or a starting point, rather than a quick listing.

Everything here is curated manually, based on public information, personal visits, and suggestions from readers. Inclusion does not imply any partnership or endorsement, and details can change faster than this site is updated.

If something is missing, outdated, or incorrect, or if you would like to suggest a bookstore, club, event, space, or person for the People section, the Suggest page is the easiest way to reach us.
