Readership.in is a small, independent guide to Delhi NCR’s literary scene. This page explains what data we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

If you email Readership, we may receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, links and notes. If you choose to join Readership’s email updates, we collect the email address you provide. Readership may also use basic analytics tools to understand aggregate site usage.

Why we collect it

We use information shared by email to review suggestions, respond to corrections, manage editorial or commercial enquiries and handle correspondence. Email addresses submitted through the updates form are used to send occasional Readership updates, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Email service provider

Readership uses beehiiv to process and manage email subscriptions and to send email updates. When you submit your email through the signup form, your subscription information is handled through beehiiv’s service and is also subject to beehiiv’s applicable privacy terms.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your email address or correspondence. We may use service providers, such as the email subscription provider described above, only as needed to operate Readership and deliver the service you requested.

How to delete your data

You can unsubscribe from email updates using the unsubscribe link in an email. You can also email us at hello@readership.in to request removal of your personal details from active Readership records, subject to any limited records we may need to retain for administrative or legal reasons.
