Readership accepts two kinds of submissions: free nominations for the guide, and reader-relevant commercial enquiries such as author announcements, book announcements, event visibility, and sponsored formats. Both are reviewed for editorial fit.
Suggest a free listing
For bookstores, reading groups, reading-friendly spaces, libraries, literary events, campus societies, corrections, and reader-facing initiatives that should be considered for the guide.
Suggested fields: City, category, name of place / club / event, area, official website / Instagram / Meetup link, why should it be included, and optional email.
For corrections, image concerns, affiliation concerns, or urgent listing requests, write to hello@readership.in instead.
Work with Readership
For author announcements, book announcements, event visibility, featured listings, city support, and other reader-relevant formats that may be commercially supported and clearly labelled.

Commercial formats
Commercial support may help fund research, formatting, publication effort, and visibility. It does not buy recommendation, ranking, positive wording, favourable coverage, or guaranteed publication. Anything promotional should be clear to readers.
Author Desk
For author and book announcements that are relevant to readers, bookstores, publishers, and literary communities.
Book announcements
For new, upcoming, or reader-relevant books that need a clearly labelled announcement format.
Event visibility
For book launches, readings, literary festivals, workshops, and reader-relevant gatherings.
Featured listings
For bookstores, reading groups, libraries, cultural spaces, and reader-facing venues that may benefit from enhanced formatting or temporary visibility.
City or category support
For organisations that want to support city-level reading culture documentation with clear labelling and no influence over editorial selection.
Submission does not guarantee inclusion. Every nomination is reviewed for relevance, accuracy, public usefulness, and fit with Readership’s editorial standards.
Commercial support may be accepted for clearly labelled reader-relevant formats, but it does not guarantee publication, recommendation, ranking, positive wording, or continued placement.
